Group Description Hawaiian Genealogy Society began in 1996. It was changed to Hawaiian Genealogical Society after it was found that our great great grandmother named Princess Poomaikelani headed the Hawaiian Genealogical Society in the times of King David Kalakaua. Our Meetings occur informally. Most of the members are Kamehameha descendants, Royal family members or heirs of Sovereigns of Hawaii attended meetings held at various Public Libraries.
